English and International pianist Jill Crossland, known for her authoritative but imaginative performances, makes a first visit to Kirkcudbright. Jill has appeared many times at major venues such as Wigmore Hall, South Bank in London, Sage Gateshead, Vienna Musikverain, Vienna Konzerthaus, Leipzig Gewandhaus. Jill's recording of the complete Bach 48 preludes and Fugues was described by the Penguin Guide to CDs as 'a remarkable achievement, ranking with the finest' and her latest album of Chopin Nocturnes and Ballades, has had over 400,000 streams.
