Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: January 1, 2025
These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in and attendance at the 2025 Kirkcudbright Fringe ("the Event"). By purchasing tickets, attending, or participating in any associated activities, you agree to abide by these terms.
1. General Admission
1.1. Entry to the Event is subject to the presentation of a valid ticket or accreditation.
1.2. The Event reserves the right to refuse entry or remove individuals at its discretion, including for breaches of these Terms and Conditions or for behavior deemed inappropriate or unsafe.
1.3. All attendees must adhere to the venue’s policies and any instructions provided by staff or organizers.
2. Ticketing
2.1. Tickets are non-refundable except as outlined in the Event’s Refund and Returns Policy.
2.2. Lost or stolen tickets will not be replaced or refunded.
2.3. Tickets must not be resold or transferred without prior approval from the Event organizers. Resale may render the ticket void.
3. Program Changes
3.1. The Event program is subject to change without prior notice.
3.2. Organizers reserve the right to alter or cancel performances, venues, or schedules without liability.
4. Health and Safety
4.1. Attendees must comply with all health and safety guidelines, including any government-mandated COVID-19 measures in place at the time of the Event.
4.2. Dangerous, disruptive, or illegal behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the Event without refund.
5. Liability
5.1. The organizers are not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to property incurred during the Event unless caused by negligence on their part.
5.2. Attendance is at the attendee’s own risk. It is the attendee’s responsibility to ensure personal belongings are secure.
6. Photography and Media
6.1. The Event may be photographed, filmed, or recorded for promotional, archival, or media purposes. By attending, you consent to being included in such recordings without compensation.
6.2. Personal photography and recording are permitted unless specified otherwise. However, professional equipment is not allowed without prior authorization.
7. Accessibility and Special Requirements
7.1. The Event aims to provide accessible venues and support for attendees with special requirements.
7.2. Attendees requiring assistance must notify organizers in advance by contacting accessibility@kirkcudbrightfringe2025.com.
8. Prohibited Items and Activities
8.1. The following items are prohibited at the Event:
Illegal substances or weapons
Large bags or items that obstruct pathways
Drones or unauthorized recording devices
8.2. Unauthorized commercial activity, such as vending or distributing promotional materials, is not permitted.
9. Code of Conduct
9.1. The Event is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated.
9.2. Breaches of the Code of Conduct may result in removal from the Event and/or reporting to relevant authorities.
10. Governing Law
10.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland.
10.2. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
